Education
At Northbrook Community Synagogue we offer many educational opportunities to both our membership and the broader community. From our Sunday and Hebrew School, named the Jewish Youth Connection, to our adult education, we take the joy of learning seriously. We offer a range of classes from entry level to advanced studies throughout the year. The Jewish Youth Connection runs on a typical school calendar schedule and our adult classes update every six month beginning after the High Holidays. Below, please find the latest information and class schedules for all ages. Whether you come for one class or a full semester, we'd love to learn with you and your children!
Youth Education
From preschool to Bar and Bat Mitzvah preparation, our small group sessions and engaging teachers allow us to meet our students where they are and help them to achieve their goals.
Adult Education
Come for a class or a whole season of classes. No sign-up is necessary and we update our class schedule twice a year. All classes found here are open to the public and no membership or fees are required to attend. See our schedule for more details.
Family Engagement
Celebrate Shabbat and the holidays with us! Warm and welcoming programming for every stage from toddlers to teens, and opportunities for parents to meet new friends too!
